Hey everyone. So I guess it’s time to talk a little bit about myself. Well first off, I’m a very adventurous person and I plan on seeing the Earth and experiencing everything it has to offer. I’ve built this blog for a couple different reasons, but mainly to put together and research all the best adventure travel destinations and activities.

I hope you find all the places and things I write about as interesting as I do.

So who am I?

My name is Jacob Martus, and I’m a young, positive thinking entrepreneur. I live in Florida, and I love it. There are loads of beautiful and exciting places to visit just outside the door. People take vacations here so it’s kind of like living in paradise. KIND OF. I live with both my beautiful girlfriend Niki and her awesome son Tristan. I’m extremely happy with the direction my life is going and I’m so glad I’ve got my family to share it with.

I was inspired to put this blog together after a few really awesome vacations that really changed the way I feel about recreation. So what really got my blood pumping for the first time? SKYDIVING. Yes, I jumped out of a perfectly good airplane at a really cool place called Skydive Sebastion just south of Palm Bay here in Florida. It was truly the experience of a lifetime and I’ve developed a real passion for it. I’m currently taking my AFF (accelerated free fall) skydiving course and soon I’ll be certified to jump on my own.

I really enjoy survival related activities and pretty much anything involving the great outdoors. My favorite T.V. show is Man vs. Wild, and I think my ultimate vacation would involve a survival mission in the wilderness with Bear Grylls. One day I will visit all the extravagant places and do all the adventurous activities I write about here. Until then, I guess I’ll just have to be satisfied with this blog!
